Therapeutic Expressive Art

Art is a powerful tool that can be used to help people express themselves, make meaningful connections, and explore new tools for wellness.

Expressive art-making is a collaborative and transformative experience with the intention of positively influencing the participants through the creative process.

Therapeutic art-marking can cultivate feelings of calmness, build self-esteem in developing skills and artistic achievement, and create a sense of wellbeing. The benefits are purely driven by the act of creative expression while engaging in a relaxing activity.

Please Note: Therapeutic expressive art-making is not art therapy. Expressive Arts Facilitators are not licensed health care providers or therapists and do not provide medical advice, engage in patient diagnosis, practice therapy, and do not treat or otherwise counsel those with mental illness.
